What are your inspirations?

This all began when I considered writing a sort of sequel to Alice In Wonderland, a fan tribute to Lewis Carroll’s magnificent twin fairytales. Of course, everyone is exhausted of Alice, but the concept of a strong, logical girl wandering worlds remained in my head.

Aside from that, you can blame a childhood of The Labyrinth and The Last Unicorn, coupled with a love for character-driven science fiction, especially Firefly, Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Oh! Also blame Clive Barker’s Weaveworld and Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, which are both pure fantasy and not in the least bit science fiction, but they are huge inspirations nonetheless.
